Candi Dasa is a delightfully relaxed resort & luxury Villas in Bali, which has always been an active fishing village. The tides are big in this area of the island and at high tide the beach disappears. Candi Dasa has some excellent scuba diving locations close by for both novice and experts alike. And if you’re feeling energetic, there are hillside trails which offer sensational views across the headland and out to Nusa Penida.

This beautiful, undeveloped area is set well away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream tourism in the Island’s magnificent eastern regency of Karangasem – an exotic royal Balinese kingdom of forests and mighty mountains, emerald rice terraces, islands, beaches, temples and palaces. Candi Dasa is located on Bali’s beautiful east coast, only a 1.5 hour drive from the International Ngurah Rai airport at Denpasar.

The principal pavilion to each villa comprises a fully equipped kitchen with European appliances, ready for your on-call chef for those evenings you wish to relax at home and be pampered, an ideal setting for your holiday or honeymoon guest-house. A fabulous dining and living room opens up on three sides to a stone terrace, perfect for al fresco dining and lounging beside the pool.

Each villa has two separate bedroom pavilions facing the swimming pool. Ensuites to every bedroom boast large terrazzo finished baths, open to private garden courtyards and external showers. These luxury villas boast furnishings throughout that are ‘Bali Modern’ and exquisite. These honeymoon cottages are at the pinnacle of Bali luxury.

In each of these private villas a formal entry divides the kitchen and dining room which overlook the main living room and courtyard beyond. A soaring 8 metre high cathedral ceiling in handcrafted bamboo and thatching in each of the luxury villas creates the unique ambience one expects when visiting Bali.

Villa Sasoon 12 permanent staff are a very special reason why one would want to visit Bali – the reputation of a warm, friendly people is never more evident than at Villa Sasoon. Staff will do daily housekeeping which includes dishwashing (twice daily) and bed turndown each evening. Security staff work throughout the night to ensure your stay is safe and enjoyable.
